THE ELVO VALLEY

Nestled in the Biella region, the Elvo Valley is a natural gem set between the Alps, distinguished by its wild and authentic beauty. It stretches along the course of the Elvo stream, from which it takes its name, and offers landscapes ranging from lush green meadows to towering alpine peaks, such as the Colma di Mombarone.

The small villages scattered throughout the valley, like Graglia and Netro, keep local traditions alive through festivals, fairs, and the promotion of typical products such as cheese and honey. The Sanctuary of Graglia is a spiritual site of great charm, immersed in the tranquility of nature.

Places to visit: the ancient Trappa monastery, the quaint village of Bagneri, the Sanctuary of Graglia, the Burcina Park, and the Church of San Grato.

The valley is perfect for hiking and walking, thanks to its scenic trails that wind through beech, chestnut, and pine forests. The surrounding peaks offer breathtaking views, with panoramas that include the Biella plain and, on clear days, even Mount Rosa.
